The swimming teacher
About Rebecca
Rebecca is a Level 2 swimming teacher, as well as an experienced scuba diving and first aid instructor. She also holds an NRASTC qualification and full public liability insurance. In addition, she is a secondary school science teacher with a specialism in SEND provisions.
Rebecca is passionate about enabling people to feel happy in the water, and believes that water confidence is a vital life skill that supports health and wellbeing.
Lessons are designed to be safe, fun, and tailored to each child’s needs, helping them build skills and confidence at their own pace.
The Pool
TTP - Trinity Trainer Pool / Henley
The TTP pool is warm and shallow, making it ideal for babies and young children.
Run by the Trinity Trainer Pool Association, a registered charity, and relies on the support of the volunteers who sit on the committee. It is located half a mile from the town centre.
The pool is a valuable resource, providing a welcoming and safe environment for the children of Henley-on-Thames and the surrounding area to develop confidence in the water and to learn to swim. Thousands of children have benefited over the years and some of them are now bringing their own children.
